Try to do 20 minutes every morning, and usually stick with the daily meditation on the home screen. I recently listened to the Richard Lang series which I thought was excellent too, but a little more involved (you need a mirror, etc). Great way to get started if you need a kick.
This app is a very, very good way to adopt insight meditation. I'm a non-believer and didn't realize how much cognitive effort I was spending ignoring the overt religiosity of TM. No going back... not that we exist or have free will anyway.
Absolutely great, something everyone should give a try. If you can't afford it, simply send their team an mail and ask for free access. No burden of proof, Sam trusts you and he does not want money to be the thing stopping you from training your mind.
