People that stacked Kindle Paperwhite
Simple, lightweight and portable way to carry around a good library collection with me at all times. I fell back in love with the flexibility & variety that having a the paperwhite gives me & reinvigorated my love for reading as I can easily and quickly switch between books.
I was against Kindle for a long time because "paper books are the only way to read books" and then I got it on a whim three years ago. Ever since then, I've been reading so much more. The ease of just buying a book from wherever you are and immediately jumping into it is amazing.
I have the regular 10th gen version, not the paperwhite (which has higher ppi). I love the simplicity, the price, and how having a separate device to read on (vs on Kindle for iPhone and Mac, which I used before) makes it easier to get in the zone and want to read more.
While there's no substitute for holding a full book and flipping the pages, the tradeoff of that tangible feeling here for practicality is second to none. Being enabled to carry hundreds of books in one slim device is a game-changer. Highlighting passages on the go is ideal too.
As a kid I was reading books all the time. Growing up, I switched to screens and stopped reading books. Not convinced, I bought a kindle and never regretted it! It sleeps under my pillow and now I read every day! Best feature: reading in the dark without waking up my girlfriend!
