We had VR set in our office for several months. The first month we tried all the games (Space Pirates, Super Hot) and it was super fun. Last month we did not play any other game but Beat Saber. It’s fun even after tens of hours of playtime which makes it the best VR game so far.

Calum WebbA friend of mine loves it, and plays it a bit manically - apparently he's top 10 in the world for one of the songs and has to take 1-day break between playing otherwise he gets arm cramps 😅 Was there a favorite song of yours you'd play to?

Jiří VicherekYeah, there were few that I picked regularly and got really good at (nowhere near yours friend good) but not really. We even cracked/jailbroke the game and got additional custom songs from the internet but those usually really sucked tbh. This made me appreciate the original scores from Jaroslav Beck (co-founder, Hollywood trailers composer) and realized how much work it must be to built a great "level".

Calum WebbOh wow, never thought about the quality of a level, always assumed that all the songs were accessible on Steam Workshop or similar

Jiří VicherekActually there is a ton of additional songs/levels - see bsaber.com for example. Usually, they come with only one difficulty and most of them are not very good.

Jake CrumpI've really been thinking about getting this one. The replay factor is a strong selling point, I hadn't considered. A lot of the other games I have are just play and finish without much reason to go back. What VR headset do you have it for?

Jiří VicherekI totally recommend getting this one, it is amazing. You can play it alone, get better and competitive, but it is really easy to get into it so it was working on parties as well. We used HTC Vive. Now that you made me think about it a look for the brand, another great thing was that the cable wasn’t bothering at all, because you are facing the single direction the whole game. But that was maybe a great hack for old VR sets and would be considered a con for the future wireless ones. :) Anyway, you should totally try it.

Jake CrumpThat's awesome! I'll definitely have to give it a try. I'm also really curious to see the shift towards more wireless headset options. It seems like a really natural progression.
